A recent gathering of Association Members at the Marist Centre in Sydney provided an opportunity to come together socially amidst the busyness of the working week to encounter Amazing Grace.
A small but growing Local Group in Parkes meets regularly to create a sense of belonging and an opportunity to reflect on the Marist charism of making Jesus known and loved. At a recent Gathering, they welcomed two new Members.

Vincent Shanahan was born at Branxton in the Hunter Valley and is best known as the first Director of the new school at Campbelltown; as Br Laurentius, he served at St Patrick’s and Campbelltown, but died at a very young age.
What a wonderful and truly Marist thing it is to gather as friends and community! The Ashgrove Marist Association members met for a meal and reflection at the Marist Centre on the evening of St Patrick’s Day, opting for a ‘potluck’ dinner.

The Marist Association Pastoral Plan was been launched! At a national online gathering Leader Br Darren Burge officially commissioned the document, and Executive Director Richard Quinn presented the content of the Plan. It is now available for all Members and Local Groups.
