Marist House is a welcoming and faith-based community for young students living away from home. Based conveniently in Fitzroy, Melbourne, it is a mission of the Star of the Sea Province, with two resident Marist Brothers. Students are encouraged to apply for accommodation for 2026.

The 2025 Australian Catholic Youth Festival in Melbourne brought together over 6,000 young people for a celebration of faith, including a vibrant Marist presence of students, staff, and young leaders.

On Friday, 28 November, the National Marist Youth Ministry (MYM) team held its first online International Student Leaders’ Gathering (SLG) for the Star of the Sea Province. This was something special, and augers well for future events like this.
Stuart McClorey shares a reflection on a recent Student Leaders Gathering, writing, “To live in the way of Mary is to face questions with the same trust, courage, and openness that Mary showed…to listen to our hearts, to say ‘yes’ even when the path ahead is uncertain.”
The Board of Marist Schools Australia has announced Dr John Kyle-Robinson will take up the role of National Director of MSA effective 27 July 2026. He succeeds the current National Director, Dr Frank Malloy.
