An Easter Message from Br Darren Burge, Leader of the Marist Association of St Marcellin Champagnat.
Vincent Shanahan was born at Branxton in the Hunter Valley and is best known as the first Director of the new school at Campbelltown; as Br Laurentius, he served at St Patrick’s and Campbelltown, but died at a very young age.
What a wonderful and truly Marist thing it is to gather as friends and community! The Ashgrove Marist Association members met for a meal and reflection at the Marist Centre on the evening of St Patrick’s Day, opting for a ‘potluck’ dinner.
On 24 March 2026, Marist Association Leader Br Darren Burge welcomed participants to an online gathering and officially launched the new Pastoral Plan. An edited recording of the Launch is now available.
The Marist Association Pastoral Plan was been launched! At a national online gathering Leader Br Darren Burge officially commissioned the document, and Executive Director Richard Quinn presented the content of the Plan. It is now available for all Members and Local Groups.
