Young Adult Marists Consider how to be Marists in Daily Life

On Tuesday 13 October, a community of young adult Marists gathered again in Brisbane.

It was great to have familiar faces from our first young adults’ event last month return!

We began the night by having dinner together, over lots of conversation. We then shared about what each of our connections to ‘Marist’ has been since finishing school. We then looked into some excerpts from Water From The Rock and In The Footsteps of Marcellin Champagnat to understand what it actually means to be Christians living with the charism and passion of St Marcellin, as well as an encouragement to integrate our Catholic faith and Marist charism into day-to-day life - instead of leaving it behind now that we have left our Marist school environments.

As Marists, we ended with a few moments to pray and reflect on this invitation/call, considering how we can become more Marist in our daily lives.

Once again, it was wonderful to see the Marist Family Spirit unite everyone who attended. We look with enthusiasm to what’s next for this young adults ministry!
