Marian Lecture

The 2023 Marist Association Marian Lecture - A Revolution of Tenderness - What it means to be a Christian in the 21st Century through being revolutionaries of love and tenderness in living our daily lives - was presented by Dr Medi Volpe, Assistant Professor of Theology and Ethics, Durham University, England, and Director of Research at Wesley House, Cambridge. In her lecture, Dr Volpe presented the challenges and joy of living a life full of tenderness, mercy and hope, describing tenderness as a virtue that is: “An expression not only of love but of courage. To be tender, we have to hope; and to hope, we have to know what story we are in.”
