Marian Lecture
The 2025 Marian Lecture - Pilgrims of Hope: Look Beyond was presented by Professor Stan Grant on Tuesday May 13. Professor Grant is an award winning journalist, author, moral philosopher, thinker, film maker and communicator. Stan spoke of how truth and beauty are essential to the flourishing of the human soul. He stressed the need for contemplative spaces, where we step away from noise and distraction to encounter mystery, and reflected upon Mary, asking: “Is there anything more mystical and beautiful than Mary?” Above all, he reminded us of the ongoing need to nourish the soul – to feed what lies deepest within us.
