Members of the Marist family from across VIC, SA and WA gathered at Marcellin College Bulleen on 10 October 2026 for the annual Marist Schools Australia Mass and Dinner, a celebration of faith, community, and service. The evening commenced with Mass led by Marist ex-student, The Most Reverend Thinh Xuan Nguyen DD, Auxiliary Bishop of Melbourne, and also featured the Marcellin College Student Choir.
In his welcome address, Dr John Kyle-Robinson, MSA National Director, reflected on the year’s achievements and the importance of recognising those who embody the spirit and mission of Marist education. He highlighted the dedication, generosity, and commitment of educators and staff who bring the Gospel to life through their service to young people and school communities.
A key feature of the evening was the presentation of the Outstanding Contribution to Marist Education Awards. Recipients were honoured for their exceptional leadership, service, and faithful commitment to St Marcellin's charism. Their stories reflected the enduring values of presence, simplicity, family spirit, love of work, and service.
This annual event, with similar upcoming events in Sydney and Brisbane, provides an opportunity for Marists to reconnect, celebrate achievements, strengthen bonds across our national network and renew our commitment to making Jesus known and loved through quality Catholic education.
