A representative group of 65 Marists met at the Hermitage, Mittagong on August 20-23. The delegate list consisted of Marists of different ages, gender, geographical areas, ministries and ex-officio attendees, including Brothers and Lay. Many fine people did not attend the Mission Assembly, but nonetheless play a critical role in enlivening and enacting key messages and priorities that emerged. The main message from the Mission Assembly was 'the beginning of a dialogue', which was envisioned to be taken up with all Members of the Marist Association. It culminated with a written document to coincide with the Bicentenary of the Fourviere Pledge on July 23, 2016.
