In Marist schools, we seek to form not only great learners but also young people whose hearts are open to God and to others. Academic excellence matters deeply, yet it finds its fullest meaning when joined with faith, compassion, and a sense of purpose. Game Changers is one of the most vital ways this broader mission comes to life.
“Through the rhythm of prayer, reflection, activity, and conversation, students discover that faith is not abstract but woven into daily life”
They learn that leadership is service, that belonging matters, and that the Marist story is their story too. Retreats and small groups become sacred spaces where young people open their hearts to God and to one another.
And to our mentors, thank you! Thank you for walking alongside our students with patience, faith, and love. Your presence makes all the difference. You guide, encourage, and listen; you embody the Marist way of accompanying young people with gentleness and strength. In the words of Saint Marcellin in his letter to Brother Barthelemy, “Be brave, dear friend; think how precious your occupation is in the eyes of God… Their whole life will be the echo of what you will have taught them.”
Game Changers continues to shape a new generation who are confident, faith-filled, and ready to lead with compassion. Together, mentors and students keep alive the dream of Marcellin, ensuring that the Marist spirit remains vibrant in our schools, our Church, and our world.
