Holy Family Parish Primary School - Marist Association Local Group Gathering

At Holy Family Parish Primary School, Parkes, NSW, we have four staff members who have formed a Marist Association Local Group. With Father Barry Dwyer, Members are Denise Gersbach, Beverly Berger, Virginia Rice and Hayley Wheeler. Two of our newest members, Virginia and Hayley, received their Membership certificate and pin at our last Marist gathering on 23 March.

Our group is small but hopefully growing. We meet once a term and invite other staff members for prayer and reflection in our school RE Room, usually before school. We find that this gives our staff a sense of belonging and an opportunity to reflect on the Marist charism of making Jesus known and loved in the way of Mary.

We come away with purpose, spiritually awakened and reminded of the pivotal role we all play in the faith formation of our students.
