Our Local Gathering of the Perth Marist Association took place on Wednesday evening was very well attended.
We congratulated new members with the presentation of their certificates and medals. There were several new attendees who had come along to see what we are all about.
We welcomed Br John Furlong who has recently moved to the Brothers Community at Churchlands.
We also welcomed Br Harry Prout who is currently on leave in Perth. Harry spoke to the group about his work with the Heidelberg Exodus Community. Our group was amazed at the work Harry is doing and greatly enjoyed the opportunity to talk with him and share his experiences.
A light meal and refreshments provided a great opportunity for Community Building, with lots of conversations and sharing.
