Rosemeadow Marists a Living Response to God's Love

On Tuesday 2nd December, ten staff members and three student leaders from John Therry Catholic College Rosemeadow, gathered for our Local Association Gathering.

The theme was reflecting on our journeys as Pilgrims of Hope this year and transitioning to the 2026 theme of Full of Grace.

We started the gathering with a poem from John O’Donohue, and Scripture. Staff led the reading of the prayer, and completed individual, paired, and whole-group reflections. We were asked to consider many questions during this time, including How have you walked as a Pilgrim of hope this year?

We reflected on the Family Spirit at JTCC and our work as a community this year. We resolved to continue this journey together, as pilgrims of hope looking beyond. We reflected on how we can be a living response to God’s love in the lives of others.

We then transitioned to analyse the image for the 2026 theme and brainstormed ideas on how to lead this theme in 2026. We will do further work on this with our student leaders and staff later in the term. Participants received a copy of the Introduction to the theme from Mr Tony Clarke, Director, Marist Mission and Life Formation, and the Image Reflection document.

We were challenged to “Fill up” on Grace in 2026.

Here’s a sneak peek on the start of our artwork for 2026:
