MSA a Strong Presence at Australian Catholic Education Conference

The ACEC conference was attended by all MSA Governed School Principals, MSA Executive and members of the MLF team, who were presenting.

When the National Catholic Education Commission announced the venue for its August 2025 Conference in Cairns, the Executive of Marist Schools Australia (MSA) took the initiative to ensure a strong presence from our Marist Governed School Principals. Each of our schools was well represented.

As a sponsor of the Conference, Marist Schools Australia’s presence was constant throughout, and the participation of three Directors from the MSA Board, the MSA Executive and all 12 Governed School Principals (with some bringing others from their leadership teams) ensured that the Marist engagement was strong.

Three members of the Marist Mission and Life Formation team were also engaged and made three presentations. Dr Frank Malloy, MSA National Director, led a presentation on Religious Institute and Ministerial Public Juridic Persons (MPJP) governance structures, an area of governance that is experiencing rapid growth in Australia.

Archbishop Anthony Fisher OP and Federal Minister for Education Jason Clare MP. Moderated by Jacinta Collins.
