Leadership of the Province in Oceania

“We are absolutely thrilled to share some very special news!

Br Peter Carroll, current Provincial of the Star of the Sea Province, has been reappointed by Br Ernesto Sánchez Barba, Superior General, to serve a second three-year term beginning in December 2025.

In his letter of appointment, Br Ernesto writes:

‘Thank you, Br Peter, for your willingness and generous commitment to continue serving as Provincial. Your closeness to the Brothers and Lay Marists, your collaborative leadership style, and your efforts to foster unity have been a true gift to the Province. I also wish to express my appreciation to your Council and to the various teams and committees for the journey you have undertaken together during these years.’

We wholeheartedly echo those words and extend our warmest congratulations and deepest thanks to Br Peter. We wish him every blessing as he continues to lead with his trademark kindness, humility, and love.”
