Ashgrove Marists Local Gathering

Have you had a chance to explore Pope Leo XIV’s encyclical Magnifica Humanitas? More importantly, what might its message about human dignity, wisdom, and purpose mean for us as Catholic educators navigating an age increasingly shaped by artificial intelligence?

The Ashgrove Marist Association warmly invites you to join us for a relaxed Cheese & Chat gathering as we unpack some of the key themes of Magnifica Humanitas and consider how its insights can inform our work, relationships, and mission as educators in a Catholic community.

Date: Tuesday, 28 July
Location: Room 801
Gather: 3:20 pm
Discussion: 3:30 pm – 4:30 pm
Complimentary nibbles provided

RSVP: by Friday 24 July, 9 am via THIS LINK

Whether you've read the encyclical cover to cover, skimmed a summary, or are simply curious about the conversation, all are welcome. This will be an informal opportunity to share ideas, ask questions, and reflect together on what it means to be authentically human—and authentically Catholic—in an AI-driven world.

As an added bonus, participation in this discussion can be counted towards your RE Professional Development time.

Come for the cheese, stay for the conversation!

We hope to see you there.
