The Marist Minute, a monthly publication, offers a short reflection on life, faith and being Marist. These reflections invite the Spirit into our lives as we praise and listen to God in the minutes of our Marist journey, recognising and inviting God into our everyday moments.

Naming does something powerful. In Scripture, to name is to recognise relationship, meaning, even authority, “the man gave names to all cattle” (Gen 2:20). God also names with love and purpose: “I have called you by name; you are mine” (Isaiah 43:1). To be named is to belong.
Whose names do I take time to know and speak with respect?
